Maintain your stone floors and counter tops with microfiber |

DISPOSABLE MOPS
• Pads are thrown away after only one use. • One pad cleans only one room—about 60-100 sq. feet. •
One mop is needed for dusting; another different mop is needed for “wet”
cleaning (with chemicals).
SPONGE AND STRING MOPS
• Can’t be used for dusting. • Sponge pad is not removable, nor washable. • Smears and leaves
residue. • Need chemical cleansers.

STARMOP® Original
• Reusable—wash the Starfiber pad up to 300 times! • One pad can clean every room in your entire
home--thousands of sq. feet! • StarMop can dust AND clean your entire home—no chemicals necessary.

Why use microfiber to maintain your stone floors?
- comparison between StarMop and Swiffer
excerpt from Real Simple Magazine
Dusting Floors Dusters need to pick up loose dust and dirt from all types of hard floors. Since this chore involves a large expanse of surface area and is performed frequently in most households, ease of use and cost-efficiency are key factors to consider.
The Challenge Lifting dirt from wood, tile, vinyl, laminate and stone floors.
The Contenders
Reusable: StarMop with microfiber cleaning pad $17;one washable pad included, additional pads $7 each;
Disposable: Swiffer Sweeper $8; two wet and two dry cloths included, dry refills, $4.50 for 16; wet refills, $4.50 for 12
The Outcome These products were well matched when it came to picking up lint, dirt, and hair. The agile StarMop had an edge, sneaking into awkward spaces and bending into corners a bit better
than its single-use opponent. (One tester reported that her StarMop cloth absorbed the same amount of dirt as two disposable Swiffer cloths over roughly the same amount of floor space.) Also to factor in when using disposable products is the excessive amount of litter landfills have to cope with effecting generations to come.
