1000 Watts of combined Maximum Vacuum Power thanks to its dual motor system. Two motors enable the RY5500 to get at ground-in dust and dirt in carpet fibers more effectively. One motor is designed to drive the brush roll, while a second motor powers the vacuum motor separately. This allows more power to propel each of the two motors to better remove embedded dirt and debris.
The RY5500 also comes equipped with a helical ball bearing brush with replaceable brush strip which allows for convenient changing when the brush roll wears out.
A clean air motor system also eliminates motor and fan damage because the airflow system bypasses the fan and delivers dirt and debris directly into the top-filling bag.
An innovative metal handle design houses the on/off switch. Plus, depending on your cleaning needs, a 14-inch or 18-inch cleaning path head is available to help clean large areas faster.
Comes equipped with many other versatile cleaning features such as a built-in stretch hose that is 6.5-feet long for extended cleaning reach. The larger hose also lessens the chances for clogs. An on-board crevice tool is useful in cleaning hard-to-reach areas such as in-between couch cushions, along baseboards or in tight spots behind furniture.
